WABC Places ‘Little Free Library’ in Howard County

Ally D'Ovidio

Back in October, Women in ABC (WABC) hosted three Maryland Girl Scout Troops in painting ‘little libraries’ to be placed around the Baltimore area. Local residents can use these to take a book or leave a book. The focus of this activity was to discuss with the troops the different career opportunities in the construction industry and for WABC to introduce themselves as role models within the industry. Howard County Councilman Weinstein and Howard County Tourism worked to make sure WABC could install the library.

Thank you to all who assisted in getting this library installed. It will help to better the community. Take a book and leave a book!
