Britt Tegeler, is the Owner and CEO of Tegeler Construction & Supply (“TCS”) headquartered in Baltimore City. TCS has two separate but synergistic divisions, General Construction and Material Supply. TCS is DBE,SBE, and W/MBE certified in DE, DC, MD, VA, and Baltimore City. In 2017, TCS was honored with the Greater Baltimore Committee “Bridging the Gap” Award for achievements as a woman-owned business.
Britt is a Baltimore native who attended McDonogh Highschool, acquired her B.S. at the University of Connecticut, and her Masters at Johns Hopkins University. Recently Britt, on behalf of TCS, graduated from Clark Construction’s prestigious Small Business Strategic Partnership Program. Britt was a 4-year varsity soccer player for the University of Connecticut and played several years of semi-professional soccer.
Britt has spent many years in the commercial real estate and construction industry, most recently with Grasmick Lumber and Merritt Properties & Construction Services. She has extensive experience and knowledge in many aspects of the business, including: material distribution and supply, new construction, land development, interior construction, acquisitions, and leasing. Britt is not only a licensed contractor, but also a licensed real estate agent, actively representing clients in both dispositions and acquisitions of commercial properties.
Britt sits on the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army of Central Maryland and on the Women’s Committee for the Associated Builder’s & Contractor’s Association of MD. She was nominated as a 2017 Living Classrooms Rising Star and was featured in Baltimore Business Journal ‘s 2017 Enterprising Women edition.
