ABC’s Lamon Harris to Leave at Year-End to Help Run Growing Firm

Ally D'Ovidio

Lamon Harris, who served as ABC’s Director of Small Business for the past seven years, will be leaving ABC Baltimore at year-end to focus his energies and talents on helping run HDL Construction, a commercial drywall company (and long-time ABC member).

We can’t express strongly enough the impact Lamon has had on our organization.

Thanks to his efforts, Lamon greatly expanded our outreach to the minority contracting community as he helped less experienced companies grow in their capacity and connect to majority builders.

He also completely re-engineered all of our management training programs. Through his industry connections, we now have this wonderful faculty of seasoned project managers and construction executives to provide very practical instruction and guidance to a full range of jobsite leaders, from crew leaders and foremen to superintendents and project managers.

Lamon has made ABC more valuable to its membership and for that and his friendship, we are very grateful!
